_{Due to requests from some people, I have uploaded a stock pack with 8 portrait type photo's (previously I only had one picture up - [link] - available). They're not fancy, but some people had mentioned an interest in using them in vexels, vectors, photomanipulations or as references so here they are. No need to ask for permission to use in prints on or off-site, they are free to use no strings attached.

I would LOVE to see what you make with them though (in particular vexels and vectors because I love that style but never get around to experimenting with it myself). Please send me a link if you use them, in any kind of artwork, not as a rule or anything, just a personal request because I'd love to see what you make!}

The Living Dead ...

_{Today was the 2009 Brisbane Zombie Walk. Hundreds of people became one with their zombie selves and walked through the streets of Brisbane causing quite a show and leaving only a trail of blood behind them. Myself included of course. lol. Above is a picture of me and some of my friends that went. Was so much fun, people are hilarious. I should've taken a full length shot with all my bloody bandages and stuff, but it just didn't occur to me. Next time I've got a recipe for chocolate blood to try, yummy! lol.}

October News ...

_{Been busy going to concerts, out with friends and just generally enjoying myself. lol. Enrolled in my final University courses, so I should be graduating in March then I'll be free as a bird and who knows where I'll fly. Exciting stuff!! Oh, and I've gotten this big boost of energy over the past month, I've been out jogging everyday (or an equivalent workout). Feels so good!!

Loving the first of the few thunderstorms of the season coming. I'm looking forward to partying at Valley Fiesta and Zombie Walk next weekend, and after that going to a Twilight-New Moon marathon in November, plus a girls weekend away at the Coast if we can all get our rosters to cooperate. lol. Typical when you're friends with nurses and cops whose shifts are all over the shop.

I went to see the Black Eyed Peas - The E.N.D. tour the other week. It exceeded all my expectations. My friends and I were joking about how we must be getting old because we were tired by the time we got there ... but the concert was so incredible we were so pumped within minutes of it starting. Haha.

_{So I told you about how I got to meet some of the cast and crew on the new Narnia movie, and how I got to talk to and score a hug from Ben Barnes. Well, my friend and I dropped back by the set 2 days later and they remembered us. We got to chat again, and the location manager Gareth gave us food they were eating on set (much to the envy of onlookers). Ben recognised us aswell and came gave us another hug and photo ... this one's nicer (last time I was a little unprepared, haha) except slightly blurry. I'm a very lucky girl!}

_{Just a quick hop on to tell you all about my awesome day. Today I went with a friend to checkout the set of the new Narnia movie which is being filmed very close to where I live. We hung out there all day and met a dozen of the cast and crew ... including Ben Barnes (Caspian) who gave me a hug, an Autograph and a picture together. There was a bunch of other awesome people I met, but he was definitely the highlight!}

I'm back from my wonderful trip and had the best time. I feel so relaxed and happy. I've gotten an offer to move to Melbourne when I'm done with my degree which I'm seriously considering if everything else works out fine. I love my friends and family. I've got my writing inspiration back which will hopefully last long enough to finish my almost complete novel and attempt to get it published. All in all, life's pretty good!}

_{I'm sitting here procrastinating over what to pack in my bags for Melbourne. lol. Have had a really good couple of weeks! My farewell drinkies from my old work was awesome, and I've been busy almost every night hanging out with friends. I've got all my University stuff sorted and just have to do a bit of study this weekend to do my final exam for the current Semester ... then I'm off the Melbourne baby!}

_{Oh my gosh, my life has been a WHIRLWIND of events. It's fantastic, I've cleared out a bunch of bad stuff that had been contributing to my depression and am starting fresh. There are so many new opportuninities at my fingertips, it's so fun getting a taste of what my future could potentially be. There are so many people I've now got all the time in the world for, and even one very new face. We shall see what becomes of all of this, but I'm happy and excited and thankful to the people who have brought this to me.}

Half The World Away ...

_{In 12 hours I'll be boarding my plane here in Brisbane and will be on route to Chicago. I'm packed, ready to go ... and trying to stay up as long as I can so that I don't sleep much and am tired when I board. You know, to help me sleep on the plane which will help me adjust to the time difference. It's a nice idea, but if it's anything like last time it never goes as ideally as you want it to. Haha.

So, I'll probably have some online contact over the next month ... but it won't be daily like usual. Still be thinking of you all a bundle!

The Bushfire Appeal ...

_{It's world-wide news ... the incredible fires that are sweeping through Victoria, Australia. The devestation, loss of so many lives, families who have been left with nothing, wildlife with no hope to survive. It's incredibly tragic, and those with family there are either worried like crazy, or relieved that they are safely out of range of the incredible blazes that are spreading through the countryside like I am.

The Australian Red Cross is running an appeal, and I would like to spread the word to all to donate and support these people affected by the fires. It's terrible to hear, so sad to watch, but it's even worse for those involved. Help them and donate to the Australian Red Cross Victorian Bushfire Appeal 2009.

I practice what I preach, I just registered my donation online. It's that easy, and they certainly need it more than I do, and that death toll just keeps rising.}

_{Happy 2009:

Usually every year I do a list of resolutions on here. This year has already given me so much in such a short amount of time, that I don't feel I need to make a resolutions list. Just make a wish to be happy and healthy and let the rest fall into place.

I had a pretty full-on NY's eve/day. A bit of drama and hangover at work, lol, but all in all it was definately memorable and fun! I hope you all enjoyed easing into the new year aswell!

Speaking of work, I'm writing this on my lunchbreak, as my wireless at home has been down since Christmas Eve. I've been piecing together internet from my parents UBER-SLOW computer ... which hasn't been very productive. I miss uploading artwork on here.

As a plus I have ordered a new laptop which should be in by next Monday/Tuesday. All goes to plan, I'll be back online and wireless with a new speedy machine!!!
